Time to Train!

Fall races are coming! Fall races are coming!

They will be here before you know it,  I have several runners going to the Columbus Marathon.  Two of them are running there first marathon at Columbus.  I'm excited for them!  It's a great race especially for their first marathon.

In order to do your best in any race or even finish a marathon or half, takes time.  You need time for your body to adapt to the training,  It's never too soon to start (well base building at least)  

Build up  your miles slowly.  You should increase your long run each week just 1 to 2 miles or 10 to 20 minutes.  This decreases the chance of  injury and allows you to build endurance.
